In a previous post (Carry Essential Oils With You), I told you about the benefits of carrying essential oils with you when you travel. I have been carrying a travel pack of the oils with me on my back pack for well over a dozen years to dozens and dozens of countries. The little pack that holds the oils has changed, but the main oils inside have remained the same.
Peppermint is one of the three main oils that EVERYONE should have even if they are not die-hard essential oil users. What I said about Peppermint Oil on that previous post was, “a cooling oil for when you are warm and/or overheated. It also helps to feel better if you are suffering from car sickness.”
All that is true, of course, and there is one more way that the oil is really awesome. That is the roll on. The roll on bottle doesn’t contain pure Peppermint Oil; it is a combination of Fractionated Coconut Oil along with the Peppermint Oil. The coconut oil is the carrier that helps to distribute the peppermint oil as you apply the roll on.
I have used the roll on after working outside in the heat, and my body is hot and tired. I rolled it on the back of my neck, back and forth three or four times. The relief was almost instantaneous as the cooling effect from the peppermint took place. It also works with warm, tired feet by rolling it first on the top of your foot, and then on the sole. [Sanitary Hint: Roll the ball on your hand a couple times after applying to your feet, and then wash your hands.] I am taking the roll on with me on my upcoming 73-day Grand Africa Voyage as we will be in lots of warm places, and I know the cooling relief will feel VERY GOOD.
For this, and any other Essential Oils and products (such as the travel pack), I would like to suggest that you order them from my daughter at mydoterra.com/missadrianne.
