Traverse City’s Norte is advocating for biker security and sharing the road.
The group place out red solo cups on Eighth Street to produce separated bike lanes on the road – and remind drivers be conscientious of bikers.
This, all in memory of a D.C. location bike advocate who lately died in visitors.
Norte says we all need to have to be extra mindful of secure travel.
“No matter how we get about, driving, the bus, walking, biking we deserve to be secure and i believe we can generally do improved,” mentioned Ty Schmidt, Norte’s founder.
May well is national biking month.
