This Space Amongst ~ A Poem by Roxy Whalley

“The Blue Marble” photograph of Earth, taken from Apollo 17

Restricted to feet on soil,

to air,

no gills,

amongst the universe and the ocean.

This is my prison.

What would it be like to travel beyond gravity

into the mysteries of space.

The depth of watery darkness.

I have to leave this physique that binds.

Turn into power.

Oneness with all.

Will this be death,

Or a new life.
