Very simple Scrumptious 10 Minute Campfire Packets

I completely adore camping through my travels. I have camped all more than New England, Dominican Republic, Colorado, Puerto Rico, Norway and lots of other areas. I’m generally looking for tasty, simple camping recipes and I stumbled across these reasonably priced totally cooked Johnsonville sausages. I’ve generally been a fan Overlook about getting granola bars for dinner when you can make these simple tin foil packets! These scrumptious sausages are precooked so you just have to heat them more than the fire.

I decided to make the packets with mini sweet peppers, summer season squash and the Jalapeño Cheddar Smoked Sausages.

Camping Recipe

I got tasty summer season squash from my mom’s garden in Maine and purchased the sweet peppers.

Very first you want to chop the tops off the tops off the peppers and reduce them into compact pieces.

Subsequent, slice up the sausages and the summer season squash.

Tear off a handful of squares of tinfoil.

Mix the components in equal components on the foil. The Johnsonville sausages are so flavorful you do not will need to add any spices!

Fold the foil into a packet, I like to produce an added seal down the middle.

I folded the packets 3 instances on each ends so they are added safe.

Make as lots of packets as you would like.

I decided to roast a sausage more than the fire when my packets have been cooking.

You do not want to place the packets appropriate in the fire, but extra to the side.

The packets will cook evenly more than the coals of the fire. Leave them on the coals for 15-20 minutes.

If you will need to move them as the fire modifications, meticulously use sticks. The packets are sealed properly sufficient that they shouldn’t fall apart.

Open the packet to see if it is carried out and if you are satisfied with it, just add to a plate! Really feel cost-free to consume more than rice or alone.

This was my 1st time creating this recipe with Johnsonville sausages and yum!!

There are lots of distinct flavors, I enjoyed the Jalapeño Cheddar flavor-they weren’t also spicy.
