19 pictures that will inspire you to pay a visit to the Philippines | Cheeky Jaunt

Properly hello there!

Gosh what a lengthy time it is been considering the fact that I’ve posted right here. Truth is, I moved on to pastures new some time ago and just haven’t had the time to preserve up this weblog.

But my most current trip – to the majestic Philippines – has inspired me to start off writing once more, which I hope in turn will inspire you to pay a visit to the Philippines! That is what travel blogging is all about I appear to recall.

Anyway, this post will be the very first of a lot of that showcase this glorious nation.

Comprising far more than 7,000 islands, the Philippines is (are?) scattered across 300,000 square kilometres in between the Philippine and South China seas. They are characterised by big karst rock formations soaring from turquoise lagoons, crystal-clear tropical reefs teeming with colourful fish, white-sand beaches fringed by swaying palms, and miles upon miles of lush rainforest hiding rice terraces and crashing waterfalls.
