NFL Draft Day 2019 | Best Sports Bars and Restaurants In Nashville

[ad_1]

Now that Football season is over fans are gearing up for the NFL Draft Experience which will be held in Nashville, Tennessee April 25-27, 2019! This is the first time Nashville will host the draft, so fans will need to know where the best bars and restaurants are in Nashville.  I have taken all of the guesswork out of where to find the Best Sports bars in downtown Nashville along with the best restaurants.

If you’re planning to attend the 2019 NFL Draft Experience you will need to know where to find ice-cold beer, cocktails, whiskey, wine and wall to wall flatscreens.

Below you’ll find my top sports bars along with a list of the best sports bars, rooftop bars, and restaurants in Nashville.

Tavern

1904 Broadway
Nashville, TN 37203

The Tavern has fourteen screens to watch the NFL Draft Experience and you are guaranteed to have plenty of access to the draft and plenty of beer along with food to keep you energized. Show up for Tavern’s famous brunch menu and then kick back and relax until it’s time for the festivities.

Acme Feed & Seed

101 Broadway
Nashville, TN 37201

Acme Feed & Seed is a four-story complex overlooking the river set right on the edge of downtown Nashville.  Acme’s has a little something from everyone even the not so enthusiastic sports wives like me who get dragged along.  If you’re looking for sports, head up to the second floor, which is where the majority of flat screen tv’s are at Acme.  April should be really nice so head on up to the rooftop, which still has plenty of larger than life tv’s so you won’t miss a thing including the stunning views of downtown Nashville.

2221 Bandywood Dr
Nashville, TN 37215

Crow’s Nest has everything from daily drink specials, outdoor seating areas, and a little something called the “mimosa bucket”!  Crow’s Nest is one of the best sports bars in the Green Hills’ area with two levels, outdoor seating, chill vibe plus those world famous mimosa buckets which are available Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to close of business.

1921 Division St
Nashville, TN 37203

The Kung Fu Saloon isn’t known as a “sports bar” but offers everything a sports fan needs and wants in a sports bar including Skee-Ball,  arcade games, and karaoke.  After you have worked up an appetite from watching the draft try their spin on Nashville hot chicken and I promise you will not be disappointed.

The George Jones

128 2nd Ave N
Nashville, TN 37201

Located on 2nd Avenue, The George Jones has a stunning rooftop area that includes one of the longest bars in Nashville. Enjoy live music, a dedicated Smokehouse menu, and views of the Cumberland River and Nissan Stadium so you will right in the thick of things.

L27 Rooftop Bar

807 Clark Pl
Nashville, TN 37203

L27 at the Westin Nashville is the city’s tallest rooftop bar, with a pool lounge, tasty drinks, and a stunning view of the skyline.  The Newly remodeled space incorporates Asian-fusion decor and a variety of seating options (like velvet couches, leather banquettes, and wooden chairs). Whether you sit inside or on the patio, it’s an unbelievably swanky experience and is my second favorite rooftop bar in Nashville.  (Can you guess which bar will be my number one pick?

Rare Bird

200 4th Ave N
Nashville, TN 37219

The beautiful Rare Bird recently made its grand opening in Nashville atop Noelle, a stylish new boutique hotel on 4th Avenue. The views are out of this world and you can see the Cumberland, Nissan Stadium, and the pedestrian bridge all in one turn plus the atmosphere is one to die for from the fireplaces, sofas, and chairs. The Rare Bird should definitely be on your list of rooftop bars to visit in downtown Nashville.

L.A. Jackson

401 11th Ave S
Nashville, TN 37203

L.A. Jackson is a popular hangout in The Gulch area and is located atop of the Thompson Nashville.  L.A. Jackson offers incredible views of the Nashville skyline and with its swanky decor and the great atmosphere it’s also another “must see” while you are visiting music city and looking for the best places to have cocktails.

Bobby Hotel

230 4th Ave N
Nashville, TN 37219

The Bobby Hotel is by far my favorite rooftop bar in Nashville because of the one of kind atmosphere, including a 1956 Scenicrouser bus where visitors can hang out and drink craft cocktails. There are a large bar and patio seating, perfect for lite bites and cocktails. Hotel guests have exclusive access to the pool, but it provides a relaxing backdrop for non-hotel guests as well and it’s my favorite Friday afternoon hangout spot.

Up, A Rooftop Lounge

901 Division St
Nashville, TN 37203

For an unbeatable skyline view, Up, A Rooftop Lounge is the place to go because the hotel bar and restaurant sit on top of the Fairfield Inn located in The Gulch district.  Grab your cellphone and be ready to take an Instagram worthy photo!

Husk

37 Rutledge St
Nashville, TN 37210

Husk offers Diners a meal in the 19th-century Italianate mansion that was once home to Nashville’s mayor is a trip through history which includes the city and the South’s culinary rise to fame.

Josephine

2316 12th Ave S
Nashville, TN 37204

Josephine is my favorite restaurant in Nashville!  Josephine has its own take on American farmhouse cuisine spiced with the chef’s Pennsylvania Dutch upbringing and classical French cooking techniques. The same way that Little’s famous scrapple dish is an amalgam of the parts of the pig that didn’t make it into the sausage, his cooking is a melange of styles that results in stunning dishes like perfectly braised pork cheeks over grits and lawd, if you have never tasted pork cheeks let me bless you!

Henrietta Red

1200 4th Ave N
Nashville, TN 37208

Henrietta Red is divided into three discrete areas each with a different vibe.  The bar near the front door offers impromptu happy hour so you can enjoy the nightly cocktail special, The outdoor patio which is a first come first serve and the gorgeous dining room which offers views into the dual kitchens.  The first kitchen is for cold plates of shellfish and the second kitchen is where the vegetable and seafood dishes are prepared in the woodfired oven.

123 Ewing Dr #3
Nashville, TN 37207

The godfather of Nashville hot chicken — inspiring hours-long lines that literally wrap around the building and KFC is trying to get in on the hot chicken craze but Prince’s has over 70 years and a James Beard Award so I doubt if they are worried about the imposters because as the old saying goes imitation is the best form of flattery.

1017 Woodland St
Nashville, TN 37206

Margot Cafe & Bar draws inspiration from rustic French and Italian influences, Chef Margot McCormack took a chance on East Nashville in 2001 and her restaurant continues to thrive in the ever-evolving Music City dining scene.

33 Peabody St
Nashville, TN 37210

Pinewood Social is a super cool spot if you need somewhere to grab a cocktail while working or you have a little downtime for play.  The living room area has tons of eclectic sofas and chairs for those who want to just chill bury their heads in their computers but the restaurant also offers comfort food, craft cocktails, bowling alley and in the summer guest can hang out by the pool.

911 Buchanan St
Nashville, TN 37208

The community is at the heart of Slim & Husky’s Pizza Beeria, a Nashville eatery founded by three friends dedicated to giving back to underserved neighborhoods.

Tennessee State University grads Clinton Gray, Derrick Moore, and Emanuel Reed struck a chord with Nashville diners when in 2017 they opened their first casual pizza restaurant in a historically black North Nashville neighborhood that’s largely been left out of the city’s dining boom.
